Brewster Resident Receives Prestigious Honor from the Cape Cod and Islands Association of REALTORS®

Kinlin Grover Broker Annie Blatz names Charles F. Lockhart Award winner for distinguished service

Harwich Port, MAJune 21, 2019 – Kinlin Grover Broker Annie Blatz recently received the 2019 Charles F. Lockhart Award for Distinguished Service from the Cape Cod & Islands Association of REALTORS® (CCIAOR).

Blatz is a past president of both the CCIAOR and the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR). She has served on countless committees, task forces, and work groups at the local, state, and national level over the course of her 34-year career as a REALTOR®.

“Annie has been extremely dedicated to CCIAOR, MAR, and the National Association of REALTORS®, and in advancing REALTOR® values in her career. She truly carries on the legacy and professionalism of Chuck Lockhart. Annie’s influence has shaped our Association, locally, statewide, and nationally, and our profession across Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, and Nantucket for the better and made us a stronger industry,” said Joe Arnao, president of CCIAOR. 

Kinlin Grover agents Karen Rezendes of the Sandwich office, Kerrin LaFrance of the Orleans office and Rob Drum of the Brewster office, were also recognized at the annual CCIOR meeting as graduates of the CCIAOR Leadership Academy, which explores a variety of leadership styles to help strengthen participants’ knowledge of issues deemed significant specifically to CCIAOR REALTOR® members.

Further, Allison Atwood of Kinlin Grover’s Yarmouth Port office was acknowledged for her tireless volunteer work with Therapy Dogs International of Cape Cod.

Blatz, a Brewster resident, serves as the Broker of Record for Kinlin Grover Real Estate, Cape Cod’s largest real estate firm, and is the Branch Executive of Kinlin Grover’s Yarmouth Port, Brewster, and South Yarmouth offices.

Blatz served as president of the CCIAOR in 2006, was president of the MAR in 2017, and has been recognized nationally for her efforts to protect the real estate industry and home ownership with her induction into the REALTORS® Political Action Committee Hall of Fame.

The Charles F. Lockhart Award for Distinguished Service is awarded to those who have given an extraordinary amount of time, effort, and resources to ensure the visibility and success of CCIAOR and the Cape Cod & Islands Multiple Listing Service. The award is named in honor of Lockhart, CCIAOR’s long-time retired chief executive officer and a past president of the Association.
