In fact, Marion has attracted international acclaim in the sailing world thanks to the Marion-to- Bermuda Yacht Race which began more than 40 years ago.

Marion’s public schools are included the Old Rochester school district and the town is also home to Tabor Academy, an esteemed private school situated on the harbor. Surrounding the beautiful campus, you’ll find the homes of wealthy sea captains overlooking the sea.
