Market Watch Report for Cape Cod, 2nd Quarter 2015


With the arrival of summer on Cape Cod, 2015 sales appear to be catching up with 2014 as the effects of winter wear off. Of particular note is the 17.3% increase in sales in the $500,000 -$749,999 price range. Condominium sales are also strong with gains of 7.3% over last year. Overall the market on Cape Cod appears healthy, with slight increases in median sales price and number of sales. Days on market are down by 4 days, which indicates a stabilizing inventory. Interest rates remain low, though threatened increases are on the horizon.
